The Museum and Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art is self-financed. The newly-opened private Museum and Gallery is the only national self-financing museum in the Philippines.

To receive its visitors, maintain the facility and buildings, pursue a work of art acquisition policy, restore its heritage and develop its cultural and artistic programs and exhibitions, it resorts to its own resources as well as private funding through patronage from its sole benefactor.

The Museum is currently pursuing an important program of art acquisition and restoration and facility expansion by erecting additional building structures. In this period of major works, the institution pays particular attention to the maintenance of its private revenue sourced from its private benefactor, financier, and funder.
