About our Collection

The collection of the Museum is comprised of over 2,000 objects, including paintings, classical and contemporary sculptures, statues, art installations, reliefs, religious icons, photographs, drawings, prints, antique objects and furniture situated in two locations in Alcala. The majority of the paintings and classical sculptures in the collection are dated between 1870 and 2020, spanning the artists' creations of 150 years of modern and contemporary art. All major movement styles and influences adopted by modern and contemporary Filipino painters are represented including realism, impressionism, art nouveau, cubism, dada, surrealism, abstract expressionism, pop art, and minimalism.
